ChordSaver does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything you create in the app — shows, songs, settings — is stored only on your device.
ChordSaver stores your shows and songs (titles, lyrics, chords, key, BPM) using your iPhone or iPad's local storage. We don't use any account, sign-in, or cloud sync — nothing you do in the app leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.
The app requests microphone access solely for the tuner feature. Audio is analyzed in real time, on-device, to detect the note you're playing. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted — the analysis happens in memory and is discarded immediately.
When you paste a chord-sheet link to import a song, the app downloads that page directly from the website you specified, to extract and clean up the lyrics and chords. That connection is direct between your device and the website in question — we don't operate any intermediary server that receives or processes that information.
If you choose to export a show as a file, or share it through iOS's share sheet, that action is initiated by you and goes wherever you choose (for example, Messages, Mail, or another app). We have no visibility into, or access to, that content once it leaves the app.
ChordSaver doesn't use analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs. We don't share information with anyone, because we don't collect information in the first place.
Since the app doesn't collect any data from any user, it doesn't collect data from children either.
